Who are the Equity Release Centre?
We are independent advisers on Equity Release schemes. We do not offer our own scheme and, therefore, work impartially for you to find the best scheme for your own requirements.
We passionately believe in offering our clients independent equity release advice, in the comfort of your own home. Of course, should you prefer not to have a home visit, we would still be happy to advise you over the phone or by post.
Our Principal has had 9 years experience of arranging Equity Release schemes for clients working for Norwich Union before establishing an independent practice, so you can be assured that we understand your particular needs and concerns
To remain independent, to cover the time we spend with you, in researching the best scheme ,making recommendations, and should you decide to proceed, completing all the paperwork for you we do make a charge. Details on how we can be paid can be found within the footer of each page.

With the growth of the internet, you may well be thinking that all you need to do is to read as much free information as possible and find the cheapest interest rate possible and that therefore there is no need to use an independent advisor.
Well we believe Equity Release is an important decision and one, which will have a lifelong effect. No one scheme is the same and finding the right scheme not only for your immediate needs but which also takes into account possible future needs requires a considerable degree of technical knowledge not only of the plan details themselves but also of other factors such as the effect they can have on Social Security benefits. This is a view taken by the Financial Service Authority themselves, as they now deem Equity Release to be a specialist field of financial planning and require advisers specialising in equity release to have appropriate qualifications.

Being authorised to arrange such deals for you . - Due to the complexities and long term nature of such schemes, whilst you may be able to find out details about schemes on the internet, many providers are not willing to deal direct with clients and will only accept applications via a suitably qualified adviser such as ourselves.

Unlike some of the other specialists, we believe in offering you a free no obligation home visit to discuss equity fully with all concerned, before proceeding. ( Some geographical limitations may apply) . Should you prefer not to have a home visit or live in remote areas we can still advise over the phone or by post.

Being Independent we offer impartial advice . The Equity Release Centre is independent and therefore doesn’t represent just one company or even a handful of selected companies, and therefore you can be reassured that any advice received would be impartial. Also unlike by going direct or to some other specialists, should you be willing and able to afford monthly repayments to avoid the debt building up, we can even arrange ordinary mortgages to release equity.
